Opis:
Lady Constance Chatterley is married to the handicapped Sir Clifford Chatterley, who was wounded in the First World War. When they move to his family's estate, Constance (Connie) meets their tough-yet-quiet groundskeeper, Oliver Mellors. Soon, she discovers that the source of her unhappiness is from not being fulfilled in love, and in turning to the arms of Mellors, she has a sexual awakening that will change her thoughts forever.

Serija je bazirana na romanu 'Ljubavnik lady Chatterley' pisca D. H. Lawrencea
kojeg je napisao 1928. godine i govori o ženi, pripadnici aristokratije,
Lady Constance Chatterley. Ona i njena sestra su odrasle uz nekonvencionalne
roditelje koji su ih ohrabrivali da istraže svoju seksualnost još u ranim godinama.
U svojoj dvadeset i trećoj godini udaje se za Sir Clifforda Chatterleya, dok je
na jednomjesečnom odsustvu, ali se nakon šest mjeseci vrati iz rata paraliziran
i impotentan.
Vremenom se Constanca otuđi od muža i poslije kraće ljubavne afere ulazi u vezu
sa Oliverom, lovočuvarem imanja.
Roman pisca D. H. Lawrencea 'Ljubavnik lady Chatterley' je bio zabranjivan, proganjan,
a moralisti su njegovo djelo prikazivali opscenim i pornografskim.
Iako su ga izdavači molili da objavi pročišćeno izdanje, on je to uvijek glatko odbijao.
U Engleskoj je roman bio zabranjen sve do 1960., također je bio zabranjen u Americi
i Australiji, a u Kini je zabrana još na djelu.
