Opis:
Film se odvija u vreme pre Prvog svetskog rata, kada je homoseksualnost bila zabranjena u Britaniji. Dva studenta postaju bliski prijatelji i jednoga dana jedan saopštava drugom da ga voli. Isprva zgađen, Moris (Džejms Vilbi) potom prihvata Klajvovu objavu i želi da fizički pokaže svoja osećanja. Klajv (Hju Grant) ipak želi da njihova ljubav ostane platonska – kao ugnjeteni aristokrata on se više od svega plaši izlaganja javnosti i sramote. Nedugo zatim, on prihvata društvene konvencije i venčava se. Moris je zbog toga očajan. Međutim, on onda upoznaje Skadera (Rupert Grejvs), čuvara lovišta na Klajvovom imanju, i oni započinju strastvenu seksualnu vezu.
