Women Is Losers (2021)

U San Francisku 1960-ih, Selina Gerera je bistra i talentovana srednjoškolka pred kojom je budućnost koja obećava. Ali neplanirana trudnoća dramatično menja njen put. Pošto je videla kako joj najbolja drugarica umire od loše izvedenog abortusa, odluči da zadrži bebu. Iako je roditelji ne podržavaju i živi u burnom domaćinstvu punom nasilja, Selina odlučno želi da se izvuče iz siromaštva i izgradi bolju budućnost za svog novorođenog sina. Radi više poslova i pametno štedi jer želi da ima kuću, dok se suočava s rasizmom i seksizmom i na radnom mestu i u kreditnim institucijama koje uskraćuju zajmove neudatim ženama. Ovaj provokativni film inspirisan je stvarnim ženama i istoimenom pesmom Dženis Džoplin.
