Opis:

Film je slobodna i mračna adaptacija Šekspirove drame Ričard III, prožeta gotskom atmosferom. Nakon smrti svog brata, kralja Edvarda IV, Ričard od Glostera kuje zaveru da se domogne prestola. Pokojni kralj je imao dva sina, ali oni su maloletni, pa imenuje svog drugog brata, Klarensa, za lorda zaštitnika kraljevstva. Ričard kreće u ubilački pohod., ali ga progone duhovi žrtava i polako tone u ludilo.
Zanimljivo je da je Vinsent Prajs igrao i u istoimenom filmu iz 1939. godine, ali je u toj verziji igrao žrtvu - vojvodu od Klarensa
