Opis:
Tomas je opsednut idejom da je po rođenju zamenjen sa svojim komšijom Alfredom tokom požara u bolnici. Verujući da bogati Alfred živi njegov nesuđeni život, Tomas je utučen zbog gubitka sestre i smišlja osvetu.
Tomas i Alfred rođeni su u isto vreme, a zbog požara u bolnici medicinske sestre su se namučile da spasu novorođenčad. Pošto misli da je on zaslužio Alfredovu sreću i bogatu porodicu, Tomas dolazi na ideju da su njega i Alfreda zamenili po rođenju, i stalno misli da je njegova nesreća trebalo da bude Alfredova, počev od gubitka sestre do nemogućnosti da ima valjan odnos sa Evelin. I tako, dok mu se život bliži kraju, on smišlja osvetu svom najvećem suparniku, životnom neprijatelju, čoveku koji mu je ukrao ceo život.
