Petnaestogodišnja Adel želi umrijeti. Osjeća se otuđenom i usamljenom od smrti svoga brata. Sve što je ostalo u njenom dosadnom i teškom životu je duboka tuga.
Četrdesetrogodišnji Timo koji je prije osam godina osuđen za ubojstvo, u bijegu iz zatvora sakrije se na farmi Adelinih roditelja. Kada ga Adele pronađe, predloži mu neobičan i morbidan dogovor, ona će mu pomoći pobjeći i kad budu na sigurnom, on je zauzvrat mora ubiti.
