Opis:

Radnja filma započinje u vrijeme Prvog svjetskog rata koji razdvaja mlade američke supružnike, Elizabeth i Johna. Čekajući supruga da se vrati, Elizabeth radi kao knjižničarka u lokalnoj kompaniji.
