Opis:


Yuki's family is nearly wiped out before she is born due to the machinations of a band of criminals. These criminals kidnap and brutalize her mother but leave her alive. Later her mother ends up in prison with only revenge to keep her alive. She creates an instrument for this revenge by purposefully getting pregnant. Though she dies in childbirth, she makes sure that the child will be raised as an assassin to kill the criminals who destroyed her family. Young Yuki never knows the love of a family but only killing and revenge.

    Japanski film Lady Snowblood baziran je na istoimenoj mangi, i govori o devojci koja je rođena i od malena odgajana da bude instrument osvete za ubistvo svog oca i silovanje majke. Glavni lik, Oyuki, je zavodljiva i lepa žena, sa zavidnim veštinama upotrebe noža skrivenog u njenom kišobranu.
    Snimljen je i nastavak filma 1974.god, pod nazivom - Lady Snowblood 2: Love Song of Vengeance. Takođe, postoji i remake pod imenom - The Princess Blade, koji je snimljen 2001. godine. Manga i film bili su velika inspiracija Kventinu Tarantinu za Kill Bill serijal filmova.
