A family of a father, a mother and their son is looking forward to go on vacation. On the way they experience an accident, and their lives are suddenly and unexpectedly turned upside down. This is a story about a father and his son's journey through a landscape of sorrow, after they tragically lose the one person they love the most. It's about how they deal with their new everyday life without her, and their strain to win control over the new situation. The woman who dies was the "glue" that kept the family together, and without her they feel like they have to make a new start, a situation that exhausts them both. They realize that they haven't spent much time together, and have a hard time trying to communicate with each other. Even simple things like making a meal becomes a challenge. Tročlana porodica se raduje odmoru. Usput dožive nesreću
i njihovi životi se iznenada preokreću. Ovo je priča o putovanju oca i sina
predelima tuge, nakon tragičnog gubitka osobe koju su najviše voleli.
O tome kako se nose sa svakodnevnim životom bez nje i naporima da
kontrolišu situaciju. Nastradala žena je bila "lepak" koji je povezivao porodicu,
i bez nje osećaju da im treba novi početak. Situacija ih obojicu iscrpljuje.
Shvataju da nisu mnogo vremena provodili zajedno, i teško im je da
komuniciraju međusobno. Izazov je čak i prosto pripremanje obroka.
Oca je gubitak supruge pogodio tako snažno da nije u stanju da se sabere i
preuzme ogovornost za svoj i sinovljev život. Iz pukog očajanja odlazi u
službu za brigu o deci, i kada njegov sin biva privremeno prebačen u sirotište,
izoluje se od okoline i odbacuje svaki pokušaj kontakta, čak i od svog sina,
ali sina ne napušta nada da mogu opet da budu porodica, i hrabro se bori
da vrati oca u život. Ovaj film je drama ljubavi i gubitku, ispričana realistično
uz dozu humora i topline.
