Opis:
Godine 1915. Žilber Demaši, tada mladi student pun iluzija, prijavljuje se u vojsku i dolazi u 39. pešadijski puk. Tu sreće radnika Silfara, pekara Brevala i sve druge muškarce koji su se sticajem ratnih okolnosti pretvorili u vojnike. A ovaj rat je mnogo duži i krvaviji nego što je mladić zamišljao... Film Drveni krstovi predstavlja klasik francuskog filma između dva rata.
