Je treba zabít Sekala (1998)

Akcijska drama smještena u ratnovrijeme, 1943. godinu, u malo češko selo Lakotice.
Ratni užasi kao da zaobilaze Lakotice iako je to odlučujuća godina drugog svjetskog rata. Seljani ipak ne žive spokojno. Zaobišli su ih Nijemci, ali ne i nasilje. Izloženi su teroru okrutnoga i razuzdanoga Sekala, vanbračnoga sina jednog od lokalnih zemljoposjednika. U trenutku kad izgleda kao da mu nitko ne može stati na kraj, u selo dolazi mladi kovač Jura Baran, bjegunac pred Gestapoom. Želio to ili ne, mladić postaje oruže kolektivne osvete. Dvoboj noževima neće završiti sretno ni za jednoga od sudionika, no Lakoticama će povratiti mir. Ipak, hoće li mirne ostati i savjesti njegovih stanovnika...
