Opis:

Nakon gubitka pošiljke dragocenih rakova iz svog uzgajališta jastoga u Mejnu, udovica i majka dvoje dece Džejn Osgud traži naknadu štete od Herija Fostera Malouna, železničkog tajkuna čija je škrtost uzrokovala njen gubitak. Sa svojim advokatom i dugogodišnjim prijateljem Džordžom Denamom, Džejn odlazi na sud, a porota puna saosećanja, na njeno iznenađenje, dodeljuje joj trostruku naknadu.
