Opis:

U Poljskoj potkraj 19. stoljeća vodi se okrutna borba za uspjeh trojice prijatelja različita porijekla. Karol Borowiecki poljski je plemić koji radi kao inženjer u tekstilnoj tvornici. San mu je da otvori vlastitu i to uz pomoć prijatelja: Nijemca Maxa Bauma koji je nasljednik stare tvornice i Židova Moritza Welta, neovisna poduzetnika.
