Opis:

Nakon što je prije mnogo godina pobjegao u Meksiko jer je ubio očevog ubojicu, Martin Brady (R. Mitchum) zaposlio se kod imućnoga zapovjednika Castra (P. Armendariz). Zbog preuzimanja pošiljke oružja Brady putuje u Teksas. Na putu slomi nogu i prisiljen je zaustaviti se u obližnjem mjestašcu. Sazna da je pošiljka oružja ukradena...

"Divna zemlja" zanimljiv je vestern u kojem u glavnoj ulozi nastupa hollywoodska glumačka legenda Robert Mitchum (koji je ujedno i producent filma). Iako je glumio u vesternima, gledateljima je poznatiji iz kriminalističkih filmova The Big Sleep, Out of the Past i The Night of the Hunter. Glavnu žensku ulogu tumači Julie London, a jedan od najslavnijih meksičkih glumaca Padro Armendariz Bradyjevog poslodavca.
