Opis:

Nakon Prvog svetskog rata, Fred Roberts se zapošljava kao novinar i priča uredniku kako je 1916. godine u rovu pronašao ispravnu štamparsku mašinu. Uprkos negodovanju uštogljenog poručnika Haufilda, ali uz podršku generala Mitforda, izlaze 23 broja satiričnog časopisa, koji vojnicima diže moral i dobija svoje mesto u jednom članku časopisa Tatler. Mašinu uništava nemačka bomba, ali ubrzo pronalaze novu.
