Opis:

Britanski igrani film snimljen je 1959. godine u režiji Terencea Fishera. Po žanru je mješavina pustolovnog i horor filma, a temelji se na stvarnim događajima koji su se zbili u Indiji 1830-ih pod vlašću Britanske Istočnoindijske Kompanije. Protagonist, čiji lik tumači Guy Rolfe, je oficir Kompanije koji počinje istraživati nerazjašjanene nestanke hiljada ljudi u trgovačkim karavanima. Radnja prikazuje kako ga istraga dovodi do kulta boginje Kali i njegovih pripadnika, poznatih kao thugee, koji ubijaju i pljačkaju trgovce te potom izuzetno vješto kriju tragove svojih zločina.
