Noroi je neobično dugačak i vrlo komplikovan film o priznatom novinaru-istražitelju paranormalnog Masafumi Kobayashiju koji istražuje naizgled nepovezane natprirodne slučajeve koji se, kako se radnja bliži kraju, pokazuju povezanim sa legendom o drevnom demonu po imenu Kagutaba.
