Opis:

U ovom hororu s elementima naučne fantastike, scenariste i reditelja Klajva Barkera, privatni detektiv, unajmljen da štiti popularnog mađioničara, upada u mračni, okultni podzemni svet. Uz nekoliko osvrta na tradiciju „film noara", opasnost za detektiva Harija D'Amura (Skot Bakula) počinje kada ga angažuje prelepa žena, Dorotea Svon (Famke Jansen). Dorotea je udata za Filipa Svona (Kevin Džej O’Konor), imućnog iluzionistu koji je postao slavan prikazujući stvarnu magiju kao najobičniju scensku iluziju. Dorotea veruje da bi njen suprug mogao da bude u opasnosti. Hari nevoljno prihvata da istraži slučaj i otkriva da je Svon zadobio neprijatelje u bizarnom religioznom kultu koji želi da vaskrsne svog vođu, zlog čarobnjaka kojeg je ubio Svon.
