Opis:

Smešten u Cirihu tokom Trećeg Rajha, 1938 godine, film govori o nemogućoj ljubavi između Willie, nemačke pevačice, (Hanna Schygulla) i švajcarskog kompozitora jevrejskog porekla Roberta Mendelssona, (Giancarlo Giannini), koji aktivno nastoji da pomogne grupi nemačkih Jevreja. Izbijanje Drugog svetskog rata će ih razdvojiti. Pevačica se vraća u Nemačku, postaje poznata zahvaljujući pesmi Lili Marlen. Posle rata vraća se u Cirih, gde pronalazi voljenog, već oženjenog Roberta i odlazi.
