Opis:

Drama o vozaču kamiona i djevojci koja ga neodoljivo privlači. Konobarica Clothilde (F. Arnoul) radi u kafeu uz cestu kojom prolaze kamioni. Jean (J. Gabin) vozi duge ture i više vremena provodi na putu nego kod kuće u Parizu, gdje mu živi obitelj, žena i troje djece.
