Opis:

Italijansko-francuski igrani film snimljen u režiji Francesca Rosija i premijerno prikazan početkom 1979. godine. Predstavlja adaptaciju istoimenog autobiografskog romana Carla Levija. Radnja započinje 1935. godine kada je Levi (čiji lik tumači Gian Maria Volonte) zbog antifašističkih stavova od tadašnjeg fašističkog režima prognan iz Torina u siromašnu i zabačenu oblast Basilicate, te kako tamošnjem stanovništvu, koje su zaobišla gotovo sva dostignuća civilizacije, pokušava pomoći kao ljekar. Cristo je prikazan na nekoliko filmskih festivala te je osvojio cijeli niz prestižnih nagrada, uključujući i prvu nagradu BAFTA za film na stranom jeziku. [wiki]
